Shipping, Returns & Policy Summary
USA Shipments
We continue to accept U.S. orders. Please allow additional time for custom pieces due to customs processing and tariff-related delays beyond our control.
By placing an order, you agree to all policies outlined below. Emily Gill Bespoke Jewellery reserves the right to amend these policies at any time without prior notice.
Custom Orders

Custom orders require approximately 3–12 weeks to complete.

All custom and made-to-order jewellery is final sale. No returns, exchanges, or refunds.

If you notice an issue with your order, contact us immediately so we can review and assist.

Gemstones, diamonds, and settings are not guaranteed against normal wear, accidental damage, chipping, or breakage.

Any work performed by a third-party jeweller voids all responsibility and guarantees.

We strongly recommend private jewellery insurance through a provider such as Jeweller’s Mutual.

Shipping to and from us for repairs is not covered.

Keep all shipping labels, waybills, and commercial invoices. Documentation is required for any international return shipment.
Ready-to-Ship Orders

Eligible for exchange or store credit only. No refunds.

Must be returned within 5 days of receipt, unworn, unaltered, and in original packaging.

Resized rings are non-returnable.

Sale items are final sale.

Contact us before returning any item. Unauthorized returns may be refused.

Buyer is responsible for insured return shipping. Original shipping fees are non-refundable.

Items lost or damaged in transit are not our responsibility.
Gift Certificates

Valid only at www.emilygill.ca.

Non-refundable and not redeemable for cash.

May be applied to ready-to-ship items, custom jewellery, or add-on products.
Shipping Policy

All orders ship via FedEx, fully insured for the declared value and require a signature.

Ready-to-ship items dispatch within 5–7 days.

Items requiring resizing or engraving dispatch within 14 days.

Custom pieces ship within 7 days of final payment.

Insurance remains active until the parcel is signed for. Waiving the signature requirement voids all insurance coverage.

If customs requests documentation, you must respond within 5 days to avoid return at your expense.
Shipping Rates
Rates are confirmed at checkout and may adjust with courier pricing.

Canada: $60–85 CAD

USA: $85–100 CAD

International: $125–250 CAD (email for an exact quote)
Duties, Tariffs, Taxes & Transit Times

All duties, tariffs, taxes, VAT, and import fees are the responsibility of the client, without exception.

International customers, including U.S. clients, are billed directly by the carrier or customs authority.

For U.S. orders, duties and tariffs depend on whether the shipment qualifies for USMCA (United States–Mexico–Canada Agreement) exemption.

USMCA eligibility is determined solely by customs authorities and is not guaranteed.

If a shipment does not meet USMCA requirements, applicable duties and tariffs will be assessed by the carrier or customs authority.

We do not reimburse duties, tariffs, or import fees, including those incurred due to reassessment, delays, or documentation requests.

Canada deliveries typically arrive within 1–2 business days.

U.S. and international deliveries typically take 5–14 business days, depending on customs processing.

Delivery timelines are not guaranteed, particularly for international shipments.
Returns & Shipping Costs

Original shipping fees are non-refundable.

Return shipping, duties, and taxes are the responsibility of the customer.

Insured return labels may be provided at the customer’s expense.

Lost or damaged return parcels are not our responsibility.
