Toronto is home.

If you've wandered through Parkdale, perhaps we've crossed paths. You'll often find me working away at Made You Look Jewellery, surrounded by a wonderful community of talented makers and some of my favourite people.

My creative journey began in Montreal, where I grew up, before taking me to Halifax to study Jewellery Design and Metalsmithing at NSCAD University. I graduated with honours in 2009, armed with four suitcases, a head full of ideas, and a determination to make a living doing something I loved.

After spending a summer at Toronto's Harbourfront Centre as a student, I knew the city offered the creative energy and opportunity I was looking for. The day after graduation, I moved to Toronto, rented my first studio on Spadina Avenue, and began preparing for my debut juried art exhibition.

Those early years brought some wonderful encouragement, including winning the National Student Jewellery Competition at LA Pai Gallery in Ottawa and Best Jewellery at the Toronto Outdoor Art Exhibition for two consecutive years. These recognitions helped reassure me that pursuing a creative life was worth the leap into the unknown.

Over the years, I've worn many hats: artist, metalsmith, enamellist, teacher, designer, and small business owner. I've worked alongside remarkable craftspeople, taught enamelling, and learned invaluable lessons from the generous creative community around me.

What began as a small venture designing diamond rings alongside my artwork gradually grew into something much bigger.

In 2015, I launched my bespoke fine jewellery collection, dedicating myself to creating meaningful, one-of-a-kind pieces for people who appreciate thoughtful design, beautiful gemstones, and traditional craftsmanship.

Today, with more than 15 years of experience in the jewellery industry, I continue to design and create from my Toronto studio, specializing in custom engagement rings, coloured gemstones, diamonds, and contemporary heirlooms with a distinctly personal touch.

One of my favourite techniques is vitreous enamelling, a centuries-old art form I first fell in love with during my studies in Halifax. Working with glass enamel allows me to introduce colour, texture, and individuality into fine jewellery in ways that feel both timeless and unexpected. It's a specialized craft that remains an important part of my artistic identity.

I'm particularly drawn to unusual gemstones, antique-inspired details, interesting diamond cuts, and sapphires in every imaginable colour. Through a trusted network of lapidarists, gemmologists, and gemstone suppliers, I source beautiful, thoughtfully selected materials to bring each design to life.

For me, jewellery has always been about more than the materials.

It's about the people, the stories, the sentimental connections, and the little pieces of ourselves we choose to carry through life.

I've had the pleasure of working with hundreds of clients in Canada and around the world. Some have become dear friends, and many have returned over the years to celebrate new chapters in their lives. Those relationships are among the most rewarding parts of my work.
